ARENA FOOTBALL LEAGUE

We were commissioned to design the 2013 AFL All-Star Game logo. The game was played in both Hawaii and Bejing, China. It was cool moment here at The Barn, other than our previous relationships with adidas it was our first time we got to see our work on ESPN.

We needed to design a logo that not only said football all-star game, but also design something that said both China and Hawaii. Not an easy task, but the inlaid patterns by the text do just that. We also like how the “wave of stars” gives the impression that the all-star game from Hawaii is coming to China.. A great detail as they were using this game as a catalyst to bring the sport to that country.

When you are young and hungry seeing your work on ESPN for the first time is a big deal. From flashy intro graphics, voting ballots, and uniform patches we got to see our work everywhere.
